Using bias binding (cotton strips) to hem the raw edges so they don't run like a tear in stockings`
Now I've done the binding (of one of the pair anyway) I'm gonna stitch down the thumb hole so it doesnt fray, hence the pins sorrounding my thumb threateningly :P `

@maloki I used to when I was in bed 24/7 for a couple years, but I kinda left it behind after that cos I get distracted every 3 stitches and I always forget what I'm doing :P These were old socks turned mitts by sewing them
